The Flat Packed IKEA Kitchen Boxes Arrive

After designing the kitchen, we ordered it and paid for it. No big deal. But then, it arrived at the store in Houston and we had to pick it up. Uh-oh.
Getting all of the flat-packed boxes home was no small feat. The kitchen did, however, fit entirely split between a GMC Suburban and a Grand Cherokee. It was quite a Tetris game getting everything to fit.
Anyway, we arrived in Houston, loaded everything up, and drove back to Austin all in the same day. What's more - we unloaded every single item as soon as we got back into town. That would not have been a terrible beating, except my kitchen is upstairs! I vaguely remember the palette saying that the whole kitchen weighed something like 2000 pounds. I think we made a couple hundred trips up and down the steps.
